  • +-   Can I buy a ticket to just one day of KentPresents?

    Unfortunately no. Tickets to KentPresents are sold only for the entire three-day event.

  • +-   I attended KentPresents 2015, but missed some sessions I wanted to see. Will they be available anywhere?

    Yes! One of the main missions of KentPresents is to share great ideas far and wide. In order to achieve this we are posting all 38 sessions in full (each are about one hour) and for free. Please go to our Video Gallery or to Youtube to view the sessions. Please share them with your family and friends to help us spread the great ideas from KentPresents.

  • +-   Are accommodations and lodging costs covered in the ticket fee?

    No. Ticket purchasers travel to the festival and acquire accommodations on their own. Accommodations are available in many lovely locations within 30 minutes of th Kent School venue. When you purchase a ticket to KentPresents, you will receive a list of associated inns and bed and breakfasts that are holding rooms for attendees.

  • +-   If I buy a ticket, but my plans change, can I receive a refund?

    Tickets purchased for KentPresents 2016 are fully refundable until May 31st, 2016.

  • +-   When will you announce the program, topics and speakers for KentPresents 2016?

    Over the coming months, we shall be announcing speakers, moderators, interviewers and panelists for KentPresents 2016. The topics and program will be announced closer to the August event.

  • +-   Is there a dress code for KentPresents?

    No, there is no set dress code for KentPresents. Please feel free to wear comfortable and casual attire to the festival and meals, including dinner. It can get quite warm in August in Kent, so dress accordingly. The auditoriums and rooms used for festival activities at the Kent School are air conditioned, but a a few events take place outside. While there is not much walking required, and golf carts are available on campus, comfortable shoes are recommended.

  • +-   What can we do in Kent before the festival opens and after it's over?

    The surrounding Litchfield Hills offer additional recreations – a wealth of scenic, physical and cultural attractions. Before and after KentPresents, you can explore galleries and museums, fishing and kayaking, covered bridges and waterfalls, golfing and tennis, antiquing and shopping, and farm-to-table restaurants.   • +-   Who founded KentPresents?

    KentPresents was founded by Donna and Ben Rosen in August 2014. Ben is a former venture capitalist; chairman emeritus of Compaq Computer; chairman emeritus and current life trustee of the California Institute of Technology; boards have included Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (emeritus) New York Philharmonic (emeritus); former Met Opera board member; former Columbia Business School board chairman.

    Donna is a longtime contemporary art gallery owner in New Orleans, and now active in philanthropy, the visual arts, and a board member of the Whitney Museum of American Art, New Orleans Museum of Art, and American Friends of the British Museum.
